Horsepower Automotive Group, a holding company of aftermarket off-road automotive brands, acquired Flatline Van Co on June 8, 2023. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Bell Lap Advisors was the lead advisor for Flatline, a Portland, OR-based designer of parts and accessories for vans. By acquiring Flatline, Horsepower Automotive Group adds a company known for its innovative designs and service in the camper van world. Flatline was founded in 2018.

As part of the transaction, Flatline Van Co-founders Kevin Callahan, Silas Thurman, and Jake Ballard will remain with the company following the transaction. Acquirer Horsepower Automotive Group is a portfolio company of Huron Capital, a Detroit-based Private Equity firm founded in 1999.
